It takes a combination of speed and three-point accuracy on pull-ups to win this game. Fox makes sense as a favorite, but Conley and Tatum maybe could be surprise threats if their shots fall.

Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard are two of the best point guards in the NBA. Both are incredible three-point shooters and have given basketball fans memorable battles in the past. Get ready for one more!
Along with Curry, Lillard will be in the three-point shootout in Charlotte for All-Star Weekend. Charlotte is Curry’s hometown and expects to win. His younger brother, Seth Curry, will also be competing in this year’s contest, Lillard’s teammate in Portland.
Lillard has other ideas. When asked by Portland Trail Blazers beat writer Casey Holdahl, about competing against the Currys in their hometown, Lillard predicted he would beat Curry in the three-point contest.
Lillard has experience in this contest, competing in 2014 in New Orleans. In his only showing, Lillard did well, putting up an 18 in the first round, coming in third behind winner Marco Belinelli and Bradley Beal. Curry also participated in that contest, finishing in a distant fifth place.
Curry bounced back the next year, winning in New York. He almost won it again in 2016 but was edged out by his fellow “Splash Brother,” Klay Thompson. Lillard is looking for bragging rights this year.

Going by the numbers, Lillard will have his hands full with both Currys as both of them shoot better from three than he does. Steph is shooting 45 percent and Seth is shooting 48 percent compared to Lillard’s 37 percent.

But these contests are not played on paper so anything can happen. In what is already the best event of All-Star Weekend, Lillard’s claim just added a little more intrigue to the competition and there is no doubt that Stephen Curry will be ready for that challenge.
